Who can buy fireworks?

Indoor Fireworks (category 1), Garden Fireworks (Category 2) and Display Fireworks (Category 3) can be purchased by adults over 18 years of age. It is illegal to sell fireworks to anyone under the age of eighteen and it is illegal for under 18's to posses fireworks in a public place. Professional Fireworks (Category 4) are only available to firework professionals.

When can you buy fireworks?

You can buy fireworks all year round from specially licensed suppliers such as ourselves.

Where can I let off fireworks?

You can let off fireworks on your own property (or someone else's property, provided that they have given you permission to do so) but you cannot let fireworks off in a public place (park etc).

When can I let off fireworks?

You can let off fireworks any day of the year but not after 11.00pm or before 7.00am with the following exceptions:-

* Until 1.00am following the first day of Chinese New Year.
* Until midnight on Nov. 5th.
* Until 1.00am on the day following Diwali Day.
* Until 1.00am on the day following Dec. 31st.

Who do I need to tell?

It is common courtesy to inform neigbours, owners of animals, elderly residential homes etc. A note explaining the date and time of the display and an approximate duration is a good idea. A letter to the police, fire service and the coast guards/local airport (if applicable) particularly when the display is not during the main seasons is also benificial.

How much space do I need to let off fireworks?

Garden Fireworks (Category 2) require a minimum viewing distance of 5m. Display Fireworks (Category 3) require a minimum viewing distance of 25m. Garden Fireworks conforming to the European Standard BS EN 14035 require a minimum viewing distance of 8m. The distances quoted are the minimum viewing distances.
You should also be aware of overhead obstructions such as trees, cables etc, some fireworks produce fan shaped displays and that should be taken into consideration when purchasing fireworks for your event.

How do I place an order?

Placing an order is simple. All you need to do is browse the categories on the left hand side find a Firework you like, click on the more information button then click buy. You can then choose the quantity, check the price, continue shopping or if your happy with you're selection you can proceed to the checkout. You will then be directed to a secure page where you can enter your payment details and your delivery address.

You will receive a confirmation of order email and your products will be on their way.

What methods can I use to pay?

Magnum Fireworks are happy to select the following payment methods. Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, Switch, Solo, Visa Debit, Visa Electron, American Express.

How much do I have to pay for delivery?

Delivery to England, Scotland and Wales will cost £15 for the next day.  Delivery to Northern Ireland will cost £45 for the next day, any day.  Saturday delivery will cost £40 to England, Scotland and Wales.

We can also deliver to the Republic of Ireland and Europe,  please call for a quote.

How quickly will I receive my order?

All orders are dispatched within 24 hours and delivery times to Mainland UK, Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland are Next Day. 

Is shopping on your website safe?

Magnum Fireworks uses Secure Merchant card processing to process all online orders, this means that all of your credit card details and personal information is safe.

What if I want to cancel an order?

As we believe in fast delivery we require all customers who wish to cancel there order to do so within 12 hours.

What if I need to return an item?

If you wish to return an Item you must do so within 7 days from receiving your order. All products must be left in original packaging. The customer is required to pay the return shipping cost. We highly recommend Night Freight for delivery. We will not be held responsible for any returns that go missing in transit.

You must be 18 or Over to purchase Fireworks in the UK, MAGNUM FIREWORKS will not accept orders from anyone under the age of 18.
